SHALFORD FOOTBALL CLUB
Formed in 1902, Shalford FC is known to be the oldest and largest men's football club in the Guildford area and today we run six men's sides that play competitive fixtures on Saturday afternoons as well as a Veterans team that plays occasional friendly fixtures on Sunday mornings.
Our first XI and reserves play in the premier divisions of the Surrey County Intermediate League (Western) while our 'A' and 'B' sides are members of the Aldershot & District League. We also operate a very successful Youth Academy which provides our younger members with an introduction the men's game via our two u21 teams which play in the Guildford & Woking Alliance League.
We enjoy access to some of the best football facilities in the area both at Shalford Park and at Broadwater School as well as our own ground in the heart of Shalford itself. Accomplished in the field and professionally organised behind the scenes, we are rightly proud of our highly-regarded set-up and our football achievements down the years. Our long-term success and ambitions for senior football are underpinned by a squad that already numbers well over 100 players and the ceaseless efforts of our management committee through whose vision and dedicated service we are constantly striving to improve every aspect of the club's operations.
Away from the pitch, we are far more than just a game of football and our 'Caged Tiger' spirit and brand extends way beyond the touchline. The club's founding principles of fun, fellowship and adventure guide us through the ups and downs of each passing season and our friendly set-up and legendary social scene continues to draw players from far and wide and keeps them coming back to us year after year.
