WELCOME TO THE SHALFORD YOUTH ACADEMY
Based at Broadwater School in Farncombe, the Shalford FC Youth Academy provides a dedicated coaching and development environment for young players aged 15-20 years looking to step-up into men's football.
Founded in 2005 by ex-QPR coach Andy Walker, the Academy now runs two Under-21 teams playing in the lower divisions of the Guildford & Woking Alliance League. Both sides play their home matches at Broadwater School.
Several former Academy players are now playing County standard football with the club's reserves and for those boys with exceptional ability and commitment there is the opportunity to progress into the semi-professional game through Shalford's network of relationships with senior clubs.
During the 2006/7 season, three Shalford Academy players were nominated to represent the County at Under-18 level via the Surrey FA.
New players are always welcome and anyone wishing to come along should either contact the club via 01483 561102 / shalfordfc@msn.com or attend at Broadwater School on Tuesday evenings between 8.00pm amd 10.00pm.
